Wet and dry Op MH for 2023

SEM was delighted to host an MVT members’ hospitality tent at Operation Market Harborough. The non-stop tea, coffee and biscuits was much appreciated, especially on the very wet Saturday. Our Rosebowl for Best in Show has been awarded annually since 1995 and this year was awarded to SEM member Sean Crompton, who displayed at OpMH his fully-fitted Bedford RL 3-ton General Service Light Recovery 4x4 truck. His grandfather Peter Bird won the trophy back in 2009 with a Ferret! Sean (right) receives the Rosebowl from Area Secretary Neill Elliott. Below: The MVT hospitality tent was well patronised, especially on the wet Saturday.
